SoGlos is the flagship brand of SoPublishing – an innovative, ambitious and completely independent media company launched in 2007 with a mission to reinvent digital regional media.

Originally established by two pioneering journalists, SoGlos is today powered by Gloucestershire's largest and most experienced media team – including individual experts in publishing, marketing, advertising, design and videography. Our original, professionally-written and engaging content spans the hottest places to eat, drink, shop and stay at, iconic sporting venues and independent schools, memorable days out, unmissable events and festivals, homes and gardens, luxury wedding venues and the most accessible business news in Gloucestershire.

Based on Imperial Square in the heart of Cheltenham, we are fiercely passionate about continuing to set the standard for regional media excellence, and we’re a fun bunch of people to work with too. Click here to meet the team.

Our mission is to inspire our readers and help our partners’ businesses grow.

So Trusted

For more than 15 years, SoGlos has helped hundreds of successful local, regional and national businesses reach new customers and grow. See below for a sample of what they've had to say about working with us, and click here for more partner testimonials.

'The King's School have been working with SoGlos for several years now, increasing our marketing activity with them year on year. The combination of display advertising, content and, of course, the hugely successful Lifestyle Awards, has proved very effective in promoting the school across the Gloucestershire community. SoGlos led the way initially as a digital publisher but now they have evolved into so much more - we are excited to see what the future holds.'

thekingsschool.co.uk Claire Card, Marketing & Communications Manager - The King's School

'Although Renishaw is the largest private sector employer in Gloucestershire, with 2,500 people at our county sites, as a niche B2B technology provider we have to work harder for brand recognition. In a highly competitive recruitment market, it is especially important to have wider community awareness and SoGlos is helping to take our brand to new audiences.'

renishaw.com Chris Pockett, Head of Communications - Renishaw

'We worked with SoGlos to help us reach new audiences, something we couldn't have done alone. The team are experts, listening to what we wanted to achieve and putting that listening into creating a plan, and into creating great content that resonated. It's rare that a media company take the time to understand both the clients and audiences like this.'

newbreweryarts.org.uk Beth Alden, CEO - New Brewery Arts

'We have partnered with SoGlos for several years and their support has really helped us reach many new customers. Everyone in the team has been brilliantly responsive and use their own professional views, skills and experience to create dynamic content. They are a passionate team committed to delivering success for their clients. We thoroughly recommend working with the team.'

dunkertonscider.co.uk Melanie Cheeseman, Managing Director - Dunkertons Cider

'SoGlos has an unrivalled reach for people who are looking for what’s happening in Gloucestershire – whether it’s for leisure or business. Their features and posts are always on-point and engaging, and they take the time to understand us and help us tell the story of Cheltenham Festivals year-round. They are also super-flexible and a joy to work with.'

cheltenhamfestivals.com Bairbre Lloyd, PR and Communications Manager - Cheltenham Festivals

'SoGlos's content creation is of a very high quality, the articles are very well written with a real understanding of their client’s product or service. It is a digital marketing offering offered by digital marketing specialists, not a print title trying to add a digital package. The account management and communications are also very good. We love working with SoGlos being a Cotswold-based brand.'

cotswoldraw.com Chris Brierley, Owner - Cotswold Raw

'The Growth Hub has worked closely with SoGlos over the last couple of years on a range of campaigns, from content marketing to video and event sponsorship. One of the things that we have always found to be so refreshing is the high level of energy and creative thinking they bring when it comes to finding new ways to engage with Gloucestershire businesses. They are a great team to work with and another example of a brilliant Gloucestershire business really shining a light on all that is good within our county.'
