Lewis Spencer can't wait to open the doors to his new restaurant, Chuck Burger, and get cooking.

The latest arrival at Gloucester Food Dock, Chuck Burger, is opening its doors on Friday 8 March 2024.

Established in 2012, Chuck Burger grew in popularity at its residencies in London hotspots; Spitalfields, Liverpool Street and King's Cross.

Now, Cheltenham-based chef, Lewis Spencer and his team are bringing a slice of Americana across the pond to Gloucester.

Lewis said: 'We’re excited to open our doors and get cooking.

'Chuck will provide the very best of British, well-sourced ingredients in every meal.

'Using our multi-fuelled smokers, we’ll add an element of smoky flavour to our dishes whether it be pastrami Benedict brunch or our Miss Piggy burger, Chuck will be a burger bar like no other.'

Chuck Burgers use aged, UK reared, ex-dairy cow beef and smoking techniques to add an extra dimension to their dishes.

The menu is full of colour and delicious flavours offering cornflake chicken strips, loaded fries and mac ‘n’ cheese balls alongside the prized burgers.

Brunch will be available daily alongside freshly brewed coffee, smoothies and juices.

New outside seating has been installed at the quayside so as the weather warms this spring, it will be possible to enjoy dishes inside or out.

Elote and Strip Steak Bar will open at Gloucester Food Dock in coming months.
