The SoGlos team has continued to grow as part of a strategic recruitment drive since the last quarter of 2020, and we’re delighted to announce the appointment of our new team member Tracey Gamble, who has joined the company in the pivotal role of office manager.

Tracey grew up in North Yorkshire but headed to Gloucestershire at the age of 18 for university, remaining in Cheltenham ever since and enjoying a 22-year career in the travel industry.

The pandemic’s impact on international travel meant a change of direction for Tracey, which we’re delighted led her to a new career path with SoGlos – an independent brand she was already an avid follower of.

Tracey has already drawn upon her wealth of administration and finance experience to bridge the gap between SoGlos’s Advertising Hub and Editorial Hub, providing clients with excellent customer service, continually refining systems and processes, supporting the group publisher with special projects and working on both the 2021 SoGlos Lifestyle and Business Awards.

‘I’m so excited to have moved into the world of digital media – and to have joined SoGlos at such an important time, as the company continues to grow and develop,’ Tracey said.

‘With the size of the team having doubled since this time last year, Tracey’s role is instrumental to ensure the office runs as smoothly as possible, and we can continue to provide both readers and advertisers with the excellent standards they have come to expect from SoGlos over the past 14 years. We’re very lucky to have Tracey on the team,’ said James Fyrne, SoGlos co-founder.
