Tyler Grange, an environmental consultancy with headquarters in Rendcomb, has been recognised as one of the best medium-sized organisations to work for in the country in The Sunday Times's 'Best Places to Work 2024' list.
The list is devised each year from an analysis of 50,000 global organisations and is compiled from responses to survey questions developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders and academics, among others.
The survey monitors employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort, with the companies that finally make the grade for The Sunday Times list all displaying lower staff turnover, lower sick absences and higher levels of productivity consistently.
To be accredited as a Best Place to Work, organisations must achieve a minimum score of 70 per cent in the survey developed by The Sunday Times, with high marks for their achievements on inclusivity, sustainability and staff retention.
Tyler Grange, which achieved B Corp-certification in 2022, gained recognition last year after introducing a four-day week with no loss of pay or benefits for all of its 85 staff, which not only had a significant effect on the company's productivity but also increased employees' happiness and wellbeing at work by nearly 30 per cent, with absences reduced by two thirds.
The 'Best Places to Work' list highlights the consultancy's work culture and its ongoing investment to attracting, retaining and rewarding its talent.
