Popular British fashion brand FatFace is returning to Gloucester Quays this May 2022.

Its brand-new outlet is set to open its doors on Friday 20 May 2022, making a welcome return to the centre after closing in October 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The popular British brand, which started in 1988, now has 200 stores across the UK and Ireland. It reported its sales were back to pre-pandemic levels after a strong Christmas, with 22 per cent growth in the five weeks leading up to Saturday 1 January 2022.

The new 2,107 square foot Gloucester Quays store will showcase FatFace’s latest collections of clothing and accessories ‘made to keep up with all of life’s adventures’ with up to 70 per cent off recommended retail prices.

The store opening will also create 12 jobs for the local community.

Centre manager for Gloucester Quays, Owen Acland, said: ‘The reopening of FatFace at Gloucester Quays is more proof that the Quays’ unique mix of outlet retailing, leisure and dining continues to be a successful and profitable formula.’

Executive director for Peel Land and Property Group, Stephen Wild, added: ‘By reopening a new store at the Quays, FatFace rejoins 50 top brands who offer stylish fashion and accessories, outdoor wear and homeware at up to 70 per cent off the recommended retail price.

‘The welcome return of FatFace confirms Gloucester Quays as the ‘must visit’ destination for savvy shoppers in the south west.’
