While the country awaits details on just when the Covid-19 lockdown will be eased and life can return to some normality, the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham has begun to release details of new shows for Gloucestershire audiences to look forward to – starting with Noel Coward’s Private Lives, this autumn.

Starring Nigel Havers and Patricia Hodge, and due to take to the stage from Tuesday 20 to Saturday 24 October 2020, organisers have said: ‘In anticipation of welcoming audiences back to our historic auditorium, we are pleased to announce a spectacular new show full of glitz and glamour.’

The inaugural production from The Nigel Havers’ Theatre Company, the ‘gloriously entertaining’ Private Lives is set to tour theatres across the country, including Cheltenham.

Tickets costing between £15 and £38 are on sale now, and are already being snapped up, but organisers have stressed that in the event the production does not proceed as scheduled, exchanges or refunds will be available.
