There is still time to enter the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2023

There's just a week to go before entries close to the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2023, sponsored by Hazlewoods and Willans LLP.

Local business people and companies of all shapes and sizes can still make the shortlist before nominations close on Friday 19 May 2023, and be in with a chance to win big at the awards night itself – due to take place at the Gloucester South Community Fire Station in Tuffley on Thursday 19 October 2023.

James Fyrne, managing director of SoGlos, said: ‘Last year our judges had the difficult task of deciding the shortlist from 382 entries.

‘This year we have already had some fantastic entries in, but we want to make sure every business, no matter how big or small, knows we would love to hear from them and help sing their praises, too.’

SoGlos group editor, Michelle Fyrne, said: ‘SoGlos is in an even better place than last year to champion the achievements of the Gloucestershire businesses community, with the latest figures showing we are the biggest independent online platform by far in Gloucestershire.

‘SoGlos now has a monthly audience just shy of 300,000 and a social media following across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter of 89,000. And those figures continue to rise.

‘This is a platform built for celebrating all that is great about our county.’

There are 21 categories available for businesses to enter in SGGBA 2023, spanning New Business and Green Business of the Year to celebrating the Best Place to Work, Employee and Team of the Year too.

Every business shortlisted is also in with the chance of walking away with the prestigious Business of the Year Award, sponsored by the event's headline co-sponsors Hazlewoods and Willans LLP.

The shortlist of this year’s finalists will be revealed on Wednesday 21 June 2023, followed by a drinks reception for sponsors and shortlisted businesses at Still Moving’s Bishops Cleeve studios on Tuesday 18 July 2023.

On Wednesday 13 September 2023, the judges reconvene at Malmaison in Cheltenham to decide the finalists and winners, with the finalists revealed on Friday 15 September 2023.
