New head of tax charged with doubling revenue to £1 billion

Azets has strengthened its regional senior leadership and tax team with a new head of tax for the central and west regions which includes Gloucester and Evesham. The appointment comes at a pivotal time of growth for Azets, as the business looks to double total revenue to become a £1 billion firm by 2027.

Amy Buckley has been appointed head of tax for the central and west region of Azets.

New Azets tax leader Amy Buckley is taking charge of a 120-strong tax team including Gloucester and Evesham with a mission to double total revenue to create a £1 billion firm by 2027.

In her new role, Amy will lead the tax service line across Azets’ central and west region, which covers 16 offices including Birmingham, Blandford Forum, Bristol, Cardiff, Coventry, Evesham, Gloucester, Launceston, Nottingham, Plymouth, South Molton, Tamworth, Truro, Stourbridge, Swansea, and Wolverhampton.

Having been with Azets since 2022, Amy has over 20 years’ of experience working with clients in inheritance tax, trusts and succession, compliance, profit extraction, property portfolios, capital gains tax and residence and domiciled issues.

Previously private client tax partner at the firm, Amy is based across Azets’ South Wales offices.
