Water, Bread and Salt
Celebrating the launch of the 11th festival, Strike a Light will be joining forces with Lives of Colour for Black History Month for a memorable opening night like no other.
African-Caribbean theatre company, Tangle, will bring to life a poetic celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life. What’s more, tickets also include a feverously good feast of Afro-Caribbean food.

Promising an exciting adventure, Moon is a vibrant outdoor dance circus show specifically aimed at families. Meet Jack and Mr Moon as they head out on an incredible journey discovering secrets and surprises along the way.
Fully accessible, the show takes place outdoors and promises the chance to see aerial hoops, incredible dancing and plenty of wacky and wonderful entertainment.

Offering a fantastically fun family show, One Kid and their Dog will see all kinds of chaos take place. The sheep are running loose in the town centre, so a very naughty roller-skating dog and a clumsy shepherd will need the audience’s help to try and gain some order again.

Exploring the sensitive subject of racial strains in today’s society and in association with Live Of Colour for Black History Month Gloucestershire, Black offers a compelling performance that shouldn’t be missed. When a new Zimbabwean family moves in across the road from Nikki and her dad, things soon start to unravel as her dad starts to put his foot down.
