Promising another stellar show at Cirencester’s Barn Theatre, this summer will see The Rise and Fall of Little Voice take to the stage, with West End actor and acclaimed director Michael Strassen at the helm.

Running from Saturday 7 July to Saturday 11 August 2018, the timeless tale follows shy but exceptional young woman, Little Voice, who has a hidden talent for singing like the greatest artists of the 20th century.

Living a secluded life alone in her room, Little Voice remains in challenging circumstances due to her domineering mother Mari. But when Little voice meets impresario Ray Say, she’s encouraged into the spotlight.

With The Rise and Fall of Little Voice hailed by The Guardian as ‘a northern showbiz fairy-tale, a backstreet Cinderella story’, audiences are in for a treat during The Barn Theatre’s anticipated production.

A comic tragedy that involves mature language, smoking and adult themes, the summer show is set to be another compelling play in Cirencester.
