Couples in the Forest of Dean can celebrate their nuptials by inviting their guests to whizz down death slides, bounce on trampolines and clamber over obstacles, as the play barn at Dick Whittington Park is now available to hire for wedding receptions.
The popular soft play centre can accommodate up to 150 guests on weekdays during term time, offering exclusive use of its indoor play barn and charming outdoor space nestled within the Hidden Valley for just £2,000.
Its friendly team promises to transform the indoor space with a twinkling tunnel walkthrough adorned with fairy lights; decorations for the top table and cake table; and tables and chairs dressed with white linen — with a welcome drink and staff to man the bar included with the cost of hire.
Ideal for family-friendly events, it gives little guests free reign of the huge soft play area and all its attractions, while the venue also boasts plenty of picturesque photo opportunities in its grounds, with lakes, fields, forested areas and a flower-filled cottage garden.
Founder of Dick Whittington Park, Chris Turney, said: 'We want to make special memories affordable and accessible, instead of many couples wishing they could get married but feeling like they were either priced out or unwelcome with children.
'Weddings can be notoriously expensive for the grown-ups and intimidating, or even worse — boring — for the little ones. With us, everyone can be part of the big day, from granny to the groom and the best mate to the baby. We can’t wait to welcome couples to our beautiful park and help them and their families make some special memories.'
Bookings for wedding receptions at Dick Whittington Park are open now.
