As Cotswolds society weddings go, the marriage of Frederike Gardiner and Caldon Pike was a flamboyant affair this summer 2024.
The daughter of Cheltenham fashion designer Beatrice von Tresckow wore a magnificent custom gown co-designed with her mother.
Together, they spent more than 1,800 hours perfecting the embroidery and beading, alongside the design beading team in India.
Cheltenham-based designer, Beatrice is renowned for her use of rich colours and textures in her designs.
And she made a splash with guests arriving at the ceremony, held at Cheltenham College, in a variety of looks from the last 30 years of her collection.
Pieces showcased from Beatrice’s SS24 line included the orange silk wrap blouse and pink palazzo trousers.
The eight bridesmaids and three flower girls all wore Beatrice von Tresckow clothing in bold oranges and vibrant pinks with intricate embroidery.
The wedding's homage to British fashion also included a jacket Beatrice designed featuring the happy couple’s names.
Beatrice, who has a shop in Montpellier in Cheltenham, said: 'Creating Fredi's wedding dress has been my most wonderful project yet.
'Many months were spent designing the details of the beadwork and connecting our amazing embroidery team in India with our skilled couture work here in England.
'I felt deeply proud of my daughter, of her dress and of the connection this project gave us.'
The couple were married on Saturday 24 August 2024.
