Boasting a private terrace which overlooks the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol’s new wedding venue, Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin, offers a spectacular setting for celebrations.
Following the restoration of the history Avon Gorge hotel, the new-look Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin is home to two distinct spaces for wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, receptions and celebrations.
Housed in an iconic Victorian building which dates back to 1898, the venue has been completely renovated; original features have been incorporated into the design, resulting in a lovely space complete with exposed brick walls, striking tiled flooring, and amazing stained-glass windows.
What’s more, the private terrace has panoramic views across Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge, providing a picturesque space for drinks receptions, a sizzling barbecue, or hog roast, for example.
Speaking about the impressive new venue, general manager of Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin, Andrew Thresh, said: ‘Whether it is an intimate occasion or a big celebration, we’ve carefully designed our offer for your perfect day. The backdrop of the Avon Gorge provides such a romantic setting, and we wanted to create a venue that would match that.’
