Transforming itself from a hotel and wedding venue, to now include a destination cocktail bar in its offering, Stonehouse Court Hotel is now the place for decadent drinks, following the launch of its glamorous new cocktail bar, Bar 1601.
Officially opened with an exclusive launch party on Thursday 22 February 2018, the stylish bar has undergone an extensive refurbishment under the guidance of designers Squid Inc.
Offering a contemporary twist of the sophistication and ambiance of a classic cocktail bar, Bar 1601 has an impressive drinks menu that spans cocktails, artisanal gins and carefully-selected wines, in addition to serving a range of hot drinks, homemade cakes, pastries and bar snacks.
Speaking of the exciting development, Stonehouse Court’s general manager, Marian Jurko, said: ‘We set out with the intention of putting a modern Gloucestershire spin on the time-honoured cocktail bar concept. We have enjoyed tremendous support from both our drinks partners at St Austell’s, as well as or design team, and are excited to showcase this exciting new offering to our customers.’
