Luxury Cirencester hotel The Kings Head is offering couples a chance to 'get away from the every day' with the launch of its all-new Cotswold Summer Staycation offer.
Set in the heart of the Romanesque town, The Kings Head boasts stylish accommodation with newly refurbished interiors, restaurants serving up delicious local cuisine and its own thermal spa, making it an ideal choice as a base for anyone eyeing a cultured getaway to the Cotswolds.
And for the first time this summer 2024, the hotel is offering a special deal to allow two people to experience all that The Kings Head has to offer from as little as £199.
The Cotswold Summer Staycation offer includes an overnight stay in one of the hotel's beautifully appointed superior rooms, boasting king-size beds with luxury linens and en-suite bathrooms stocked with indulgent Elemis skincare products.
Added features include things like a mini fridge and flat screen TV, while there's floor space to accommodate rollaway beds or cots for up to two children, too, with under 12s able to stay at the hotel for free.
Also included in the offer is the use of the hotel's thermal spa for two people for one hour.
Guests can access hot tubs, an infrared sauna, steam room, showers and relaxation area, with a range of relaxing signature treatments available at an additional cost.
Other add-ons include gym access, extra time in the spa and the chance to enjoy the facilities with a glass of champagne.
There's also a £20 food and beverage allowance included in the package, which guests can apply across the hotel.
Inspired by Cotswold culture and a love of local produce, the hotel has launched three new menus in 2024 at its renowned MBB Brasserie and Kings Head restaurants.
The à la carte menu at MBB features dishes like wild boar ragu rigatoni, venison burger and jersey royals with wild mushrooms; an elegant table d'hôte menu provides great value for guests with two courses available for just £19.95; and the all-new Kings Head menu offers Asian-inspired cuisine with bao buns, glazed Korean wings and nachos loaded with Arabic rub beef brisket and Japanese salsa.
The locally sourced ethos extends to its drinks menus, too, with a range of beers, ciders, wines and spirits on offer from some of the best independent brewers and makers in Gloucestershire and beyond.
The Cotswold Summer Staycation offer is available for £199 Sunday to Thursday; and £249 for Friday and Saturday.
