There's plenty to enjoy at The Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester this autumn and winter with a beer festival, drag bottomless brunch and a spooky cellar Halloween party.

Cirencester's historic hotel The Kings Head is getting the party started this autumn and winter 2024 with a series of lively, seasonal events to look forward to.

The luxury hotel is inviting locals and visitors to let their hair down as the clocks go back and the weather turns, with live music and local beer, freaky fun for Halloween and a bottomless brunch with a twist, all taking place this October and November 2024.

First up next month is the 2024 Cirencester Beer Festival, which is taking over The Corn Hall from Friday 11 October to Sunday 13 October 2024.

The returning festival is organised in conjunction with The Kings Head in 2024, with a range of local beers, prosecco and spirits being served up alongside food stalls and live music throughout the weekend.

On Friday there's a chance for anyone and everyone to show off their pipes with karaoke from 7pm, with live music all day on Saturday until 1am and all afternoon Sunday until 4pm.

Tickets cost £10 for a day pass and £15 for the three days, with free entry for under 12s.

Then on Saturday 2 November 2024, The Kings Head's historic vaulted cellar will be transformed into the perfect spooky setting for an adults-only Halloween party.

With its arched ceiling and exposed brickwork — made all the more haunting by the hotel's 14th century roots and civil war links — a 'deadly' disco with be bringing the party in the cellar from 7pm till the spooky hours.

There will be traditional activities including apple bobbing and 'monster mashing' along with prizes for the best dressed, too.

The event is open to those aged 18 and over only, with tickets costing £10 per person.

And at the end of November, enjoy an extra glamorous (and extra boozy!) afternoon and evening out at The Kings Head's first ever drag bottomless brunch.

Drag queens Sophia Stardust and Vivian Bam Bam will be entertaining guests from 5pm until 7pm, when the DJ takes over till late for the after party.

And most importantly, guests can choose between a £65 per person drinks package, including Italian sparkling, white and red wine or mimosas; or a £95 per person package, with champagne, cocktails, Italian sparkling, white and red wine or mimosas.
