Two hotels in Cirencester have been awarded accolades at the 2025 edition of the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence.
Wild Thyme & Honey and the Kings Head Hotel both took home awards, achieving Best Dog-Friendly Hotel and Best Breakfast respectively, for the whole of the UK, Europe and the Mediterranean.
In good company, the Cotswolds favourites sit alongside spectacular destinations in London, Berkshire, Scotland, the French Riviera, Italy, Spain, Marrakech, Portugal and Turkey.
Wild Thyme and Honey's welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches — for both guests of the human and furry kind — helped it gain recognition at the awards and ultimately take home the win.
The team at Wild Thyme and Honey said: 'This award highlights [our] commitment to creating a memorable stay for all, making it the go-to spot for dog lovers wanting that little extra in comfort and care.
'With this win, Wild Thyme & Honey brings a new level of recognition to the Cotswolds, drawing attention to the area as a leading destination for luxury stays that don’t overlook the details that make an experience truly special.'
Winner of Best Breakfast, the five star Kings Head Hotel has been acknowledged for its morning feasts which feature a magnificent buffet-style spread of local and international produce for guests, with a selection of hot dishes, cooked to order available, too.
This latest achievement adds to its already packed display shelf, having won Hotel of the Year 2021 from Bespoke Hotels, as well as many accolades for its weddings.
