Amid the Coronavirus crisis, Leonard Cheshire is looking for new staff to help support disabled residents across its care homes, including Gloucestershire House in Cheltenham.
With a number of permanent and temporary vacancies available, the charity hopes to offer employment to people whose jobs have been affected by Coronavirus measures, while finding new frontline staff to deliver necessary social care to its vulnerable residents.
Many vacancies, including support worker roles, require no previous experience of work in the care sector. Candidates must only be kind and willing to learn, with full training provided.
David Jessop, executive director of people at Leonard Cheshire, comments: ‘We are looking for people who want to make a different during these uncertain times.
‘If you are caring, compassionate and interested in supporting disabled people – we want to hear from you.’
