One of Cheltenham’s most popular market stalls will continue trading from two locations in the town centre, as new management announces its takeover of The Flower Man.

It was revealed in June 2019 that The Flower Man’s owner, Mark Morris, had been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and would be stepping back from running the popular business.

But brother and sister team Lucy Parr and Paul Tudge have now taken over the reins in what the pair have described as ‘a once in a lifetime opportunity.’

After working for Mark for a short time, Lucy said: ‘It was clear just how well loved he [Mark] and The Flower Man stalls are. We know how important it is to Cheltenham and want to ensure that Mark’s years of hard work and legacy continue for the town.’

Since taking over the two stalls, the pair have employed two new members of staff, as well as keeping on The Flower Man’s original staff, and have been receiving support from Mark to ensure that the stall’s loyal customer base is well served.

The Flower Man has two stalls in Cheltenham, one on The Promenade and one on Cheltenham’s High Street.
