Bristol’s new LEGO Store at Cabot’s Circus officially opened its doors on Wednesday 2 December 2020.

After delays launching due to both Coronavirus lockdowns, news of the Bristol LEGO Store launch has been eagerly anticipated, with long queues described as forming for the 10am opening by shoppers hoping for a first look in the new dedicated shop.

Bristol is the newest LEGO store to open in the UK and although there are already LEGO stores in Cardiff and Birmingham, it is the closest branch to Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire’s legions of LEGO fans might ordinarily be planning to hit the M5 to visit the new store, but as Bristol is under Tier 3 restrictions, travel to the city is not currently permitted.

While a shopping trip with little LEGO fans might potentially have to wait until 2021 – and checking current guidelines would always be recommended before travelling – things to look forward at the Bristol LEGO Store include LEGO events, activities and play experiences; the chance to fill cups with bricks from a ‘Pick & Build Wall’; as well as being able to create personalised LEGO minifigures.

LEGO lovers will also be able to choose from exclusive products only available from the brand’s official stores, including LEGO Art Iron Man and LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System™, for example.

SoGlos first revealed a new LEGO store is opening near Gloucestershire in August 2020.
