Anthropologie is opening a store in Cheltenham in 2019, which is great news as it’s been on the SoGlos wishlist for a while!
The fashionable store is the upscale sister brand to Urban Outfitters, and follows Urban Outfitters’ move to the town’s Brewery Quarter in 2018.
Anthropologie caters to an older demographic and offers a unique retail experience brimming with gift ideas, a curated mix of clothing, accessories and home décor, with the nearest store currently in Bath city centre.
It’s not yet known exactly where the new store will be located in Cheltenham, but a number of jobs have been advertised online seeking both full and part time sales associates, and a visual merchandiser to help create an ‘inspiring, dynamic and entertaining’ customer store experience.
The brand was founded in Pennsylvania in 1992 and on its website describes itself as a ‘fun and rewarding place to work’, and is looking to hire people who are ‘talented and passionate about their work, sharing a unique and artistic approach to life.
