Registration extended for the grammar school entrance test in Gloucestershire

In light of the Coronavirus outbreak and the effect it’s had on schools, Gloucestershire grammar schools have announced it will change the registration date for children taking the entrance test in September 2020.

Grammar schools in Gloucestershire have announced they will move the registration opening date for the grammar schools entrance test to Monday 18 May 2020, in light of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The new date gives parents or carers an extra two weeks to complete the process, with online registration closing on Tuesday 30 June 2020.

The grammar school entrance test will go ahead as scheduled on Saturday 12 September 2020.

Local grammar schools involved in the decision include The Crypt School, Denmark Road High School, Marling School, Pate’s Grammar School, Ribston Hall High School, Sir Thomas Rich’s School and Stroud High School.
