An exclusive collection of sustainable luxury homes from independent housebuilder Hayfield, are being built in Gotherington.
The development of 50 homes, including 11 bungalows, on the edge of the Cotswolds has a huge focus on sustainability features — with the aim of showing how luxury can be sustainable.
All of the homes, near Bishop's Cleeve, will have the top energy efficiency EPC A-rating once they've been built by March 2025.
Each property features state-of-the-art technology including air source heat pumps, solar PV panels, underfloor heating and electric vehicle charging points.
Sales director at Hayfield, Sarah Sargeant, said: 'Hayfield Heights exemplifies our philosophy of building homes we would want to live in ourselves.
'The development's thoughtful design responds to its stunning Cotswolds setting, with layouts specifically planned to maximize the spectacular southerly views.'
Hayfield is part of the Future Homes Hub's Homes for Nature initiative, developed in partnership with RSPB, Action for Swifts, Hedgehog Street and the NHBC.
Every home at Hayfield Heights will feature wildlife provisions, including bird nesting bricks or boxes and hedgehog highways to support biodiversity.
The development has been shaped by extensive consultation with local residents. It will incorporate existing Public Rights of Way and walking routes as well as a multi-use games area, play area, informal seating areas and a wildlife pond.
Alongside the luxury homes, there'll also be 20 affordable houses, including bungalows.
The homes feature dedicated work-from-home spaces and flexible open-plan living areas, reflecting modern lifestyle needs.
Several bespoke house types have been specifically designed for the location, including the Gotherington and Woolstone designs, which have been carefully crafted to complement the existing village architecture.
Prices at Hayfield Heights start from £650,000.
