Providing plenty of home renovation inspiration in 2025, Obsidian Interiors is relaunching its flagship Cheltenham showroom and design house in January, after an impressive £500,000 refurbishment.
Owned by independent, family-run company George Bence & Sons, which has been trading for 170 years, Obsidian Interiors specialises in creating bespoke kitchens, as well as luxury bathroom and bedroom renovations, tailored to customers' unique design tastes and lifestyles.
Its showroom on Fairview Road has been totally transformed from top to bottom, creating one of the country's finest spaces for showcasing high-end interior products.
Customers can discover a range of quality, built-in NEFF Collection appliances featuring the beautiful Flex Design range in four distinctive colours, designed to inspire an enthusiasm for cooking and creativity in the kitchen; from its Slide & Hide® disappearing door, which fits smoothly under the oven, to its 2-in-1 Venting Hobs for powerful ventilation without the need for an overhead extractor.
Paul Bence, group managing director for George Bence & Sons, said: 'When we opened Obsidian in 2001, we were the cutting edge of design and although we have tweaked our Cheltenham showroom over the years, we knew that to continue to be at the top, competing with the best showrooms across England, we needed to further raise the bar.
'The final delivery of our new showroom has the absolute wow factor and achieved all our goals. As a business into our 18th decade, we have always found ways to produce the best products and service for our customers, and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved in our flagship Obsidian showroom.’
Obsidian showroom manager, Alison Evans, added: ‘Our new design studio clearly sets us apart from every other showroom in the country. Our award-winning designers are extremely excited to work with our clients with the new displays looking absolutely stunning.
'We now truly have a space for the future of kitchen, bathroom and bedroom design. We have never been so excited to show off our new products and displays. 2025 gives us the opportunity to work closely with our clientele in the newest, and most creative, design house in the UK.’
Obsidian Interiors reopens its Cheltenham showroom on Thursday 2 January 2025, with beautiful displays of bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, wallpapers, tiles and accessories to browse.
There are plans for esteemed interior designer — and Cotswold celebrity — Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen to officially open the showroom later in the month, too. Watch this space!
