Gloucestershire estate agent, Naylor Powell, was established in 1982 by Mike Naylor and Richard Powell and has since become a household name – and is now celebrating 40 years of helping homeowners sell and let their properties across the county.
With six branches in Cheltenham, Gloucester Docks, Hempsted, Newent, Stonehouse and most recently in Cam, its expert teams are passionate about their local areas and providing exceptional customer service.
Managing director, James Birt, is leading the business into its landmark 40th year, along with directors Helena Birt, Adam Davis and Robert Wade. Birt has been with the company for 22 years and was the driving force behind opening its Gloucester Docks office in 2006, as the area’s regeneration programme began.
Birt said: ‘40 years is a huge milestone for Naylor Powell. I am so proud to have been part of the business and, together with our amazing team, I’m looking forward to celebrating more big milestones.
‘The property industry has brought many challenges over the years, but our experience and team ensure we overcome these together. We have dealt with tens of thousands of property transactions over the years and we are proud that many of these clients return to us and also recommend us to the next generation.’
Staff were treated to an 80s-themed party to celebrate the milestone anniversary, with its usually suited and booted team kitted out in hilarious costumes from Boy George to the Smurfs.
Naylor Powell also plans to continue its celebrations throughout 2022, with each branch raising money for its nominated charity and a prize draw for its followers due to be announced soon.
