Huge UK garden centre retailer, Dobbies, opened its latest Gloucestershire store on Thursday 27 April 2023 – bringing an urban garden centre experience to Cheltenham with its sixth little dobbies store.
Shoppers can get a piece of homegrown happiness with its curated range of houseplants, plant care and small space gardening products; with stylish homeware pieces and gorgeous gifts to shop, too.
Located at 106 Promenade, the new houseplant haven is the largest of little dobbies' six UK stores, spread across London, Edinburgh and Bristol.
From almost unkillable cacti to limited-edition beauties, exclusive to the Cheltenham store, plant lovers are spoilt for choice.
The leafy selection is organised by room, covering air-purifying plants that are perfect for the bedroom to bathroom-friendly plants that thrive in high humidity. Pet owners can find plenty of plants that are safe to keep around their fur babies and the store is dog-friendly, too!
Customers can also pick up everything they need to build their own terrariums; a whole wall of colourful pots; and all the essential plant-care accessories.
Aspiring veg growers don't even need a garden to grow their own fruit and vegetables, with little dobbies' Pick-N-Joy range of indoor plants which thrive in urban environments – think growing aubergines and citrus fruit on your windowsill!
The store also carries a range of small space gardening products, as well as bistro tables, comfy garden chairs and outdoor pizza ovens as part of its outdoor living range.
Customers can order from Dobbies's full catalogue and arrange collection or delivery for anything they see in store – ideal for those bigger purchases!
And for new plant parents, there's a horticulturally-trained team on hand to offer advice and guidance on houseplant care at the in-store Green Team Hub.
