Channel 4 is bringing the iconic DIY show Changing Rooms back this August 2021 and it’s bringing a familiar local face back to TV screens too – as Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who lives in Siddington near Cirencester, returns to the show.

He’s joined by presenter, Anna Richardson, carpenter and joiner, Tibby Singh, as well as designers, Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead of 2LG, who will all be helping two teams of homeowners work against the clock to transform a room in each other’s house.

Famous for his extravagant style, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be working with one team of homeowners on each episode, to help them redesign their opponents rooms – while 2LG, who describe their style as ‘joyful minimalism’, will work with the other team.

The differences between each designer’s bold style is sure to provide some tense moments!

The show, which has been commissioned by Channel 4 in partnership with Dulux, also promises to be full of DIY, craft and design tips to inspire viewers to upscale their own homes.

New host, Anna Richardson, said: ‘What an honour to be joining the Changing Rooms team, one of my favourite shows from when I first started in TV!

‘This series is an absolute classic and I can’t wait to see the designs the legendary Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and the brilliant Jordan and Russell of 2LG come up with for our homeowners. Let’s get that house swapping started!’

While Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen simply added: ‘Let the games commence!’

Changing Rooms will first be aired on Wednesday 18 August 2021 at 8pm on Channel 4.
