A luxury afternoon tea will be served in style at the Alzheimer's Society polo game in Tetbury.

It's an enthralling game of high speed and terrific talent and on Friday 9 September 2022, two of England's top polo players will show off their skills to an audience at Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury.

Mark and Luke Tomlinson will take centre stage for the action-packed afternoon and it won't just be the game, in support of Alzheimer’s Society, that's a treat - there will be plenty of fantastic food and drink to enjoy too.

Starting with a Champagne reception at 11.45am, a polo demonstration will explain the rules of the game for any rookies, followed by a three-course lunch.

Dishes include heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella, pine nut crumble and basil; roast chicken supreme with hazelnut and thyme picada crumb, cavolo nero, baby carrots and a chicken masala sauce - and there's an option of Roman gnocchi for vegetarians too.

After an energetic game of polo, a charity auction will unfold with top prizes on offer.

Guests will have the chance to win a trip for six nights on a sailing yacht, a cooking course for six people at the Gordon Ramsay Academy and a luxury dining experience for two at a Michelin star restaurant.

The afternoon will be rounded-off with a luxury afternoon tea of delicate sandwiches filled with egg mayonnaise and cress; cucumber and cream cheese; coronation chicken and tuna and red onion.

Freshly baked scones will be served with jam and cream followed by a selection of cakes including classic chocolate brownie, lemon drizzle and raspberry and coconut flapjack.

Tickets are priced at £150 per person or £1,500 for a table of 10. Tickets are available at alzheimers.org.uk.
