Finally, after a tumultuous year, Stratford Park Lido in Stroud has revealed it will be reopening for Gloucestershire families and friends to enjoy on Saturday 29 May 2021 – just in time for half-term.

Local volunteer-run community group, The Friends of Stratford Park Lido, have been working with Stroud District Council to ensure that the outdoor pool will be safe for visitors to use.

Councillor Chris Brine, chair of community services and licensing committee, said: ‘Health and wellbeing is one of our key priorities and reopening the Lido is an important step to make sure we deliver on that.’

The pool will be open for members of the public to use between the hours of 1pm and 7pm every day, with an hour of cleaning taking place between 3.05pm to 4.10pm.

Sessions must be booked in advance, with admission costing £3.80 for adults and £2.25 for children.

For more information, or to book a swim, call Stratford Park Lido on (01453) 766771.
