The Kingsholm club has been working hard to improve the Wi-Fi offering at the stadium, with the hope that the new high performance wireless internet will help to improve the visitor experience for fans.

In addition, the club is also launching a new mobile app which will include features like half-time quizzes, games for children to help understand the rules of rugby, live audio feeds of matches and the ability to pre-order food and drink.

The app will also offer access to special rewards and offers, exclusive content, fan galleries of photos and a live ‘Man of the Match’ voting system.

Both the app and the new Wi-Fi system will be launched in time for the new season.

Stephen Vaughan, Gloucester Rugby’s CEO said: ‘We are firmly in a digital world and part of the ‘future proofing’ of the club going forward is to ensure we are at the forefront of technology that allows us to give everybody that visits Kingsholm stadium not only fast connectivity but also gives us the ability to engage our audiences better.
‘The app will allow visitors to Kingsholm to access high speed Wi-fi and a range of services designed to improve the experience on a match day.’
