Gloucestershire Bike Project in Gloucester has announced it will donate its newly-refurbished bikes to key workers in the county, who need them to travel to and from their jobs.

The bikes are available to NHS staff members, teachers, supermarket staff and other key workers who are keeping the country going during this Coronavirus crisis, and who may struggle to afford one at the moment.

Not only is it donating its bikes, Gloucestershire Bike Project is also exclusively open for emergency repairs for key workers’ bikes.

In its Facebook post, Gloucestershire Bike Project said: ‘We are in this together. And together we will beat the corona virus.’

To apply for a bike, email info@gloucestershirebikeproject.co.uk.
