Gloucester Rugby are one of the pioneers in the Premiership that will feature in an episode of BBC’s The One Show on Thursday 25 March 2021 at 7pm.

The BBC was welcomed into a Gloucester Rugby training session for the feature which will focus on the club’s work with OPRO and PROTECHT and the use of technology to support improvements in rugby player’s welfare.

The Cherry and Whites are using the OPRO+ mouthguard which is embedded with PROTECHT technology, which accurately identifies and reports all head impacts received by players in both training and matches.

Gloucester Rugby’s management team are then able to use this data to help players prepare safely for matches and the intensity that comes with it. Interesting stuff.
