It was during lockdown that exercise scientist Eddie Jones came up with the idea of creating a studio for time-pressed people to learn more about boosting their strength and mobility.

Now, after two years of research and fundraising, his dream has become a reality with the opening of Insidesweat at Manchester Park in Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham.

SoGlos was first to take a look inside the minimalist studio that opened its doors this July 2022.

Jones, who lives in Uckington, said: 'Our aim is to help simplify exercise. It can be daunting not knowing where to start when first embarking on your fitness journey.

'Through functional movements, Insidesweat looks to utilise simple equipment with a focus on improving mobility, strength and endurance for daily living.'

The hybrid approach gym combines personal training classes and at-home fitness, utilising a bespoke functional exercise bench, designed by Jones.

He offers private and semi-private personal and group resistance training at the new studio with a maximum of just six people in each class.
