Go barking mad at Cheltenham’s outdoor swimming pool when Sandford Parks Lido hosts its annual Dog Swim — this year returning for TWO whole weekends!
An event not to be missed by dog lovers, Gloucestershire's four-legged friends have the chance to practice their doggy paddle in the lido on Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October 2024 — just before it closes for the season.
Owners are allowed to get into the pool, too, for some fun bonding time or to aid their dogs if they're less confident in the water.
Just be prepared for find the pool water chilly — it might be wise to bring a wet suit!
This year’s Dog Swim will again be a pre-purchased ticketed event, with doggy owners able to register online via the lido's website for a specific time slot. Spectator-only tickets are available as well.
