Dig out your lederhosen, long socks and feathered hats – and get practicing your yodelling: Cheltoberfest is coming to Cheltenham Racecourse for the first time at the end of October, promising a unique thigh-slapping Cotswolds/ Bavarian celebration alongside the sporting action.
Launching Cheltenham Racecourse’s new 2019-2020 racing season with the sounds of oompah trumpets, Cheltoberfest will take place in The Centaur during both days of The Showcase, on Friday 25 October and Saturday 26 October 2019.
There will be energetic live music from the Bierkeller Boys, a range of local real ales and Magners Cider to cheers with, and a racing tipster before the horseracing action commences – with plenty of Oktoberfest frivolity and fancy dress expected too.
Tickets including access to both the Racecourse and Cheltoberfest cost £40 in advance or racegoers with Club/Tattersalls tickets can add-on entry to Cheltoberfest for £15 in advance or £20 on the day.
