James Campbell from Cheltenham has raised over £20,000 for NHS Charities Together after running the length of a marathon in his six-metre back garden.
The Scottish javelin record-holder was inspired to support vital NHS staff and volunteers who are fighting the Coronavirus outbreak.
He vowed to run a marathon in his back garden if he could get 10,000 retweets on Twitter.
James laced up his trainers on Wednesday 1 April 2020, which was also his birthday, and ran the 26.2 miles in his back garden. So far, he has raised £28,759 for NHS Charities Together.
