The newly-installed doggy play area at Whitemead Forest Park offers a fun way to exercise your pooch in the great outdoors.

Located in Parkend in the beautiful Forest of Dean, Whitemead Forest Park is not only a picturesque holiday destination for humans, it's now a paw-fect place to take your canine companion, too — with the arrival of its new doggy play park.

The new enclosed agility course can be found at the top of the Whitemead site next to the The Meadow and is completely free to use, whether you're staying on the site or just popping by on a dog walk.

With platforms, bridges, a see-saw and hoops to jump through, owners can ensure their dogs will be thoroughly entertained — and well worn out for the journey home!

As well as the chance to stay in its picturesque lodges, glamping cabins or pitch up a tent in its camping area, guests and visitors can enjoy a range of other activities on offer at the holiday park, too, including adventure golf, archery, zorbing and swimming, before heading to the cafe for a coffee and a catch up.

Revenue and reservations manager at Whitemead, Lauren Kiddy, said: 'We wanted to create an area on-site where guests and customers could exercise their dogs freely. We think both dogs and their owners will really love the new addition.'
