The time has finally come, as nominations for the exciting second year of the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards are now open via soglos.com/awards - sponsored by Neptune Rum (neptunerum.com).
From Monday 7 January to Thursday 28 February 2019, sensational businesses have the chance to nominate themselves for one of more than 20 award categories – from Family Day Out Venue, Restaurant, and Independent Shop, to Independent School, Hotel, and Shopping Destination of the Year for 2019.
There’s also an exciting new category for the 2019 awards, allowing members of the public to nominate their own Hero of the Year. This category will celebrate those who have made an outstanding contribution to Gloucestershire through their work in the charity, sport or business arena.
The definitive new awards were launched as part of SoGlos’s 10-year anniversary celebrations in 2017, and saw almost 21,000 votes cast across the county. The SGGLA inaugural awards evening took place at Gloucester Blackfriars, and recognised and celebrated the very best lifestyle businesses and individuals in and around our amazing county.
The 2019 awards will be powered by an exciting nomination stage and ‘people’s choice’ voting process, with a host of support set to be bestowed on the lucky winners, which will be revealed at a prestigious industry event at Gloucester Cathedral on Thursday 16 May 2019.
