We are recruiting for an outstanding individual to take on the new, pivotal role of SoGlos sales manager – to drive new business while leading and inspiring the sales team in our Partnerships Hub.
We have met and interviewed some fantastic candidates over the past few months, but are holding out for the *perfect person* to join our brilliant team in this new role and build on SoGlos's 17 years of success.

About the role
You will be responsible for:
Proactively implementing and developing the commercial strategy – exploring, growing and creating new revenue streams and commercial opportunities
Leading the Partnerships Hub sales team – managing and guiding team members, driving team activity and ensuring the team sales target is met
Hitting an individual sales target – winning new business, crafting compelling advertising campaign proposals and delivering presentations
Developing and growing strong relationships with partners
Representing SoGlos and the Partnerships Hub externally and across the business – reporting directly to the managing director
About you
We are looking for someone who is / has:
- An ambitious sales person, with experience working with data, metrics and hitting targets
- Strategic and commercially astute, with sound business acumen
- Experienced in inspiring and leading a sales team
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and high energy, with a positive attitude
- Able to remain calm under pressure, taking the initiative to find solutions to challenges
- Great organisational skills, able to manage both individual and team sales activity
- Good working knowledge of Gloucestershire across a range of sectors. Strong local business contacts would be a great advantage
- Ideally, experience in a similar sales role in the media, marketing, recruitment, technology, estate agency or professional services sector
- Knowledge of advertising, sponsorship and event sales would also be an advantage
Proficient in embracing modern technologies – including CRMs (ideally HubSpot), websites, social media platforms, Office 365 and SoGlos’s in-house proposal system
Salary and benefits
- Generous starting salary plus commission, with OTE of £64,000 per annum, uncapped.
