A swim at Sandford Parks Lido usually sets an adult back £7, but for the next two Saturdays visitors can make a splash for 2p!
On Saturday 26 March and Saturday 2 April 2022, swimmers will pay just two pennies as a donation for entry to the 50-metre outdoor pool.
The water has just started being heated up, with the pool temperature at the weekend set to be a bracing 10°C – with updates being announced each day on social media and the lido website.
Public swim sessions are available from Saturday 26 March 2022, with online bookings now open for the next two weeks as the water temperature rises. Bookings for children’s swimming lessons and pool parties are also being taken.
While season ticket holders will get a sneak preview of the cold water pool with a pre-season swim on Friday 25 March 2022.
The pool will remain open to visitors until Friday 7 October 2022.
