Wild Thyme and Honey reveals signature menu for the ultimate festive gathering

Christmas at Wild Thyme and Honey is set to be an indulgent affair this year, with the launch of its brand-new 'Signature Experience', offering guests an exclusive glittering gathering.

Promising to knock your — and Santa's — Christmas socks off, Wild Thyme and Honey is helping you to celebrate the season in sparkling style in 2024, with a brand-new signature festive menu offering.

Whether you're hosting an unforgettable party, gathering your nearest and dearest for a family affair, and everything in between, the venue's chefs have passionately curated a menu handpicking the best sustainable British suppliers for the ultimate jolly feast. 

Available to book from Thursday 21 November through to Monday 30 December 2024, the signature experience invites guests to arrive to a beautifully dressed festive table, taking your seat to enjoy a welcome glass of fizz and canapés, followed by a three-course menu with all the trimmings.

This year's canapés are comprised of dry-aged roast beef with horseradish creme fraiche; whiskey and maple-cured trout paté with dill and lemon; salt baked beetroot with pumpkin puree and sorrel; and Oxford blue cheese mousse with wild thyme and truffle honey.

Festive starters include stand-out dishes like duck liver parfait with truffle cream, confit onion puree and toasted brioche; twice-baked cheddar soufflé with crispy leeks and truffled mornay; and pan-seared king scallops, pumpkin purée, confit new potatoes, crispy capers and sage.

For the main event, feasting parties can indulge in Worcestershire free range turkey ballotine, confit leg bon-bon, duck fat roasted potatoes, charred sprouts, roasted roots, pigs in blanket and rich turkey gravy; eight-hour slow braised shoulder of beef bourguignon, with beef fat carrots and horseradish potato; miso cod with fermented pepper mash, long stem broccoli and nasturtium leaf; and more.

Rest assured, vegans and vegetarians can opt for a winter mushroom risotto with porcini crumb, baby watercress and optional parmesan. 

Cauliflower cheese to share, pigs in blankets and mulled wine braised red cabbage are also available as sides at an additional cost. 

Following with a sweet treat, glazed lemon tart, English sparkling wine and cherry trifle, and traditional Christmas pudding are just a few examples of what's available for dessert; followed by warm mini mince pies to finish. 

The 'Signature Experience' menu costs £65 per person; plus, enjoy a complimentary upgrade to a heated riverside dome for table of four to six people, subject to availability.
