Vegan and slimming afternoon tea to be available in Cheltenham

Vegans and slimmers soon won't have to miss out on afternoon tea, as Cheltenham's newest café announces its brand new alternative menu.

Opening its doors on Friday 21 September 2018, Henry’s Tea Room will replace the former Enchanted Tea Room and is set to serve up an array of afternoon teas including a vegan one, lighter option, and a chocolate lover’s afternoon tea.

The lighter afternoon tea will feature three layers including the likes of homemade salads, a vegetable selection, and fresh fruit, and will be available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The tea room, which is just off Cheltenham High Street, will also be hosting themed events and food evenings, such as a vegan evenings and an event focusing specifically on celebrating local producers.

Also available to hire for private parties, the venue allows guests to take along their own alcohol.

Speaking about the opening, Christine said: ‘I am so excited about opening the tea rooms. I’m careful to ensure a menu is available to suit all dietary requirements and food intolerances…with a sprinkling of magic!’
