From sandwiches and subs to doughnuts, Gloucester Quays is welcoming three new foodie outlets this autumn 2024.

Gloucester Quays is welcoming three new foodie brands this autumn 2024, with Pret a Manger and Krispy Kreme both opening their very first Gloucester stores and a new Subway opening, too.

The new Pret, which is due to open in November, will have enough room to seat 85 in its 1,841 sq ft unit on High Orchard Street and will serve up sandwiches, wraps and salads handmade in its on-site kitchen, as well as baked treats, snacks and drinks, including barista coffee.

Subway's new store is also located on High Orchard Street near The Real Greek and Bill's — while Krispy Kreme's first dedicated doughnut kiosk is located inside the outlet.

Clare Clough, Pret a Manger's UK managing director said: 'Pret is opening shops in towns and cities across the UK, so it was about time we found ourselves a home in the historic city of Gloucester.

'We’re excited to welcome 10 new team members to the Pret family to help us deliver a fantastic experience for our customers, and we look forward to opening our doors very soon.'

Asset director at Peel Retail & Leisure, which owns Gloucester Quays, Paul Carter added: 'In Gloucester Quays’ unique crossover position as both outlet and de facto city centre, the importance of having a quality grab-and-go offer is not to be underestimated.

'Having these three global food and beverage brands commit to the destination points to that, particularly how we can cater to breakfast, lunch and dinner audiences, whether they’re here for a retail-dominated experience or because they work or live locally.

'Pret, Subway, and Krispy Kreme will all bring something different to the outlet and their arrival is further evidence of our 15-year-long dedication to meeting the needs of our loyal and diverse catchment.'

Krispy Kreme and Subway at Gloucester Quays are open now, with Pret a Manger due to open its doors in November 2024.
