Much-loved Charlton Kings pub, The Royal, is being taken over by the owners of The Five Alls this January 2024.

The owners of popular Bath Road pub The Five Alls are taking over The Royal in Charlton Kings this January 2024.

The pub, which has been run by previous owners Mike and George for the last 14 years, will now be run as a sister venue to the Fives.

The new owners are said to have 'absolutely fallen in love' with The Royal and will keep on all the current staff, as well as ensuring customers receive the same great food and drink, service and atmosphere locals expect.

They're planning to put their own stamp on The Royal while retaining its place at the heart of the Charlton Kings community, with the pub staying open and all existing bookings and vouchers being honoured.
