Gloucestershire's first The Real Greek restaurant officially opens at Gloucester Quays on Thursday 15 September 2022.
To celebrate, The Real Greek Gloucester has a special launch offer giving diners 50 per cent off food from the main menu when dining in, from Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 September 2022.
The latest restaurant to launch at Gloucester Quays, The Real Greek is taking over the site formerly home to Carluccio's, and promises diners 'an authentic Greek experience' with a menu of great value stacking plates designed for sharing.
Diners at the Gloucester restaurant can expect an open-plan interior with authentic décor, including original Greek floor tiles, a colour scheme inspired by the Aegean sea and artwork including a map of the original marathon in 490BC - as well as outdoor seating.
The menu at The Real Greek features nibbles like Greek olives, flatbread and halloumi popcorn dressed with lemon and thyme infused honey; cold meze including houmous topped with paprika and roasted red peppers, taramasalata and green pea fava; hot meze including falafel, dolmades, lamb meatballs, moussaka and fried calamari; as well as souvlaki wraps, salads and sides - plus dedicated vegan menu and a good value £7 kids menu.
There are a variety of special offers, with an £8.75 lunch menu available weekdays from 12pm to 5pm; Fish and Chips Friday with salt cod, chips and taramasalata for £8.75; Family Sundays where kids under 12 eat free with every adult spending £10 or more; and 25 per cent student discount with a valid UNiDAYS card.
Plus, there's also a Filoxenia Dinner Menu with four dishes, including one starter, one cold meze, one hot meze and a salad or side for £14.95, available from Sunday to Thursday from 5pm.
