Cheltenham's family-run cheesemonger, The CheeseWorks, is expanding in 2025 with the launch of its very own wine bar and kitchen.
Aptly named Upstairs at The CheeseWorks, the new eatery sits above the shop on Regent Street, which stocks some of the best cheeses from the UK and Europe, as well as curated cheese hampers and gifts.
Customers can expect cheese boards galore, using produce from the shop so everything will be available to purchase downstairs if you find a new favourite; perfectly paired with wines, seasonal small plates and nibbles.
Look out for midweek deals like Wine Board Wednesdays offering reduced cheese boards and a bottle of wine, too.
A real Cheltenham institution, The CheeseWorks has been bringing artisan cheese to Cheltenham for over 20 years, diversifying its offering with custom-made wedding cakes, cheese tasting events and, more recently, an indulgent menu of four-cheese toasties served Thursday to Sunday.
Upstairs at The CheeseWorks has also teased plans to introduce cheesemaking courses to the new space.
While there's no official opening date yet, Upstairs at The CheeseWorks hopes it could be ready to welcome customers as early as April or May 2025.
