A brand-new ‘The Botanist’ bar and restaurant is set to open in Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter. Known across the country for its floral-themed bars, The Botanist has announced it will open its first Cheltenham venue in the Autumn/Winter of 2018.

The Botanist brand, which is operated by the leisure brand The New World Trading Company, also has bars in Birmingham, Newcastle and Chester to name a few, and is advertising jobs for its Cheltenham restaurant. Jobs include a general manager, head chef and restaurant manager, with job perks including 50 per cent off all food for staff and their chosen guests.

Hosting cocktail masterclasses as well as serving deli sharing boards, meaty feasts and bountiful brunches, The Botanist, as the name suggests, is plant-themed, with its other restaurants featuring flower-adorned walls, indoor trees and vines running up the walls.

The bar will take on a 6,500 square foot unit within the Brewery Quarter.

Nikki Kontarines is asset manager for Martin Commercial Properties, which manages The Brewery Quarter. She said: ‘The Botanist is a fantastic signing for The Brewery Quarter, as the scheme continues to go from strength to strength. The Botanist is renowned for its spectacular interiors and lively atmospheres, and we can’t wait to see the end result.’
