The wait is almost over as The Alchemist Cheltenham has announced it will officially open in The Brewery Quarter on Friday 28 August 2020 – with delay caused by lockdown restrictions.
The new 4,500 square foot Cheltenham bar and restaurant is set to feature an impressive emerald marbled bar top and dark wall murals, with a bespoke floor-to-ceiling bar described as taking centre stage.
Known for its theatricality, The Alchemist Cheltenham will be serving up smokey cocktails and experimental food. With the ‘Colour Changing One’ and ‘Smokey Old Fashioned’ just two concoctions created by mixologists.
The Alchemist Cheltenham’s all-day dining menu also includes a touch of playfulness, with starter dishes including the chorizo and cheddar doughballs with a ‘choose your cheese level’ syringe. Main course choices include plenty of plant-based options, such as the vegan cauliflower katsu curry. With the flaming cotton candy baked Alaska sounding dreamy.
The Alchemist Cheltenham is the first big food and drink name to announce its opening in town since lockdown.
