With an impressive offering spanning Winter Afternoon Tea to a six-course tasting menu, Tewkesbury Park has launched its festive dining experiences for Christmas 2022.
Ideal for celebrating with family and friends, its menus have been carefully crafted by head chef Anuj Thakur and his expert team, with everything from casual get-togethers to special celebrations catered for, all within the gorgeous surroundings of the luxury hotel.
Its Festive Feasting menu allows guests to enjoy a two- or three-course festive lunch, with delicious dishes including hot smoked Bibury trout with wasabi mayonnaise, roast Cotswold turkey with all the trimmings, braised blade of Herefordshire beef, and traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and brandy butter ice cream, with coffee and mini mince pies included too; the two-course festive lunch costs £30 per person, while three courses cost £35 per person.
Famous for its afternoon tea, Tewkesbury Park's winter offering includes savouries like Severn and Wye smoked salmon, avocado smash and pickled cucumber on sourdough, honey-roast turkey with spiced cranberry sauce on wholegrain bread, and smoked brie with sun blushed tomatoes and pear and ginger chutney on turmeric-spiced tortillas; seasonal sweet treats like blood orange macarons, spiced polenta cake with masala chai crémeux and chocolate parfait dome with cinnamon crème fraiche; as well as plain and fruit scones slathered with Cotteswold Dairy cream and local strawberry jam.
Winter Afternoon Tea is served from 1pm to 5pm daily and costs £25 per person with unlimited loose leaf tea or coffee, or £33 per person with a glass of English sparkling wine.
For the ultimate indulgence, Tewkesbury Park's six-course Taste of Christmas menu provides a truly special experience. Highlights include pulled pork choux buns with Tewkesbury mustard cream; hand-dived Scottish scallops; Aberdeen Angus beef fillet; and rose and raspberry macarons; with vegetarian options including Rosary Ash goat's cheese cornetto; curried parsnip and apple soup; and winter vegetable Wellington with Champagne butter sauce.
Taste of Christmas costs £78 per person, or £120 per person with a matching wine flight - with private dining options available, too.
For bigger celebrations, ideal for workplaces, Tewkesbury Park also offers exclusive use of its Cotswolds Suite and Berkeley Bar from £230 per person, including a bespoke lunch and dinner, as well as an overnight stay, with a minimum of 50 daytime guests and 30 staying overnight.
Nearly every dish is made from scratch in Tewkesbury Park's own kitchen, so it can cater for special dietary requirements and make sure there's something for everyone to enjoy this festive season.
