So Pie in Gloucester has closed its doors for the final time. The restaurant and independent eatery announced its closure on Facebook on Tuesday 10 March 2020, thanking fans for their trade over the years.
The restaurant, which was renowned for its wide range of pies and tasty fillings, posted on its Facebook page announcing ‘a downturn in trade and continuing overheads has meant the doors closed for the final time’.
Owners, Sarah and Steve said: ‘for all our loyal pie lovers, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts’.
The announcement also comes just three months after So Pie’s sister company, So Thai, closed unexpectedly in December 2019.
